Last updated September 4, 2026
By installing or using 4789, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app is provided “as is”
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation. You use the app at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of 4789 is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from use of the app.
2. Content and configuration are your responsibility
You are responsible for the files, servers, playlists, and services you choose to connect. You must have the lawful right to access, store, and play the content they return. You are also responsible for protecting private configuration and exported settings files.
3. Compatible services are independent
Services compatible with the 4789 service protocol are operated by their own developers. Those operators are responsible for their data, availability, legality, conduct, and rights. Compatibility does not mean that 4789 endorses, controls, verifies, or is affiliated with a service.
4. Lawful use
Use 4789 only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of connected services and APIs. You must not use it to access, copy, or distribute content you are not authorized to use. Nothing in the app is legal advice about a particular source or use.
5. Third-party services and names
Connected services and metadata providers can change, fail, or become unavailable. 4789 does not guarantee continued access to them. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.
6. Changes
These terms can be updated as the product changes. The current version will appear on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
Copyright reports
If you believe something within 4789’s control infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with enough detail to identify it. Reports about an independent connected service may also need to be directed to that service’s operator.
