Built for distance
A television app with one obvious job.
4789 TV receives the title and source selected on your phone, plays it, and reports progress back. It does not make you rebuild the whole decision on the couch.
Choose the room
Tap Play on TV from iPhone and select the saved television. The resolved media travels directly to the receiver whenever the source allows it.
Control from either screen
Pause, seek, stop, and change tracks from iPhone or the television remote. State converges instead of pretending one side did not move.
Made for real boxes

The receiver is designed around the platform decoders, remote controls, audio routes, and unreliable discovery behavior that real Android televisions ship with.
Android TV family
Runs on Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, and NVIDIA Shield class devices. D-pad and standard media controls stay native to the room.
Playback fallbacks
The compatibility receiver uses bounded buffering, route-aware audio, subtitle control, and recovery paths when a source or platform decoder fails.
Phone-native installation
4789 on iPhone can install the pinned public receiver build over local Wi-Fi when the television exposes its supported ADB connection.
Local by design
Phone and receiver communicate on your local network. The TV does not need a 4789 account to receive playback.

This is the current public sideload build for Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, and Shield. It is not a Play Store release.
