Public beta being prepared. No IPA is available from 4789 yet.

Know before installing

An unsigned IPA must be signed with your Apple Account inside the sideloading tool you choose. 4789 never receives that account. Free signing normally expires after seven days, so refresh the app before then.

Allow your signed build.

Turn on Developer Mode and trust the profile if iOS asks.

Bring your library.

Add only what you use. Optional setup appears when activated.

Refresh, update, and backup

Refresh before expiry. Free signing normally lasts seven days.

Install over the existing app. Do not delete it for a routine update.

Export before removal. The settings file can contain live secrets and private URLs. Protect it like a password.

Updates

Install over the existing app.

A routine refresh or newer 4789 build should install over the existing public app so local data remains in place. Do not delete the app just to update it. Export settings first whenever removal is unavoidable.

Watching on television

4789 TV is a separate Android TV app.

The iPhone IPA and television APK are different installs. Set up the iPhone app first, then use the TV page for the verified receiver release and its Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, or Shield instructions.

  • Confirm the IPA came from the official 4789 release.
  • Check whether the seven-day signing period expired.
  • Confirm Developer Mode is still enabled.
  • Try refreshing or installing over the existing app.
  • Do not post an Apple Account, password, token, or private manifest URL.
